James joined the practice in 2005 having previously worked as a corporate finance director. He spent eight years advising clients in a wide variety of industries on all aspects of corporate transactions, management buy-outs and venture capital. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is responsible for managing HWA's marketing and business development activities as well all other back office functions.
In his spare time, James plays odd games of tennis and golf (sometimes they are very odd!) and runs to prepare for his annual half marathon. He also shares an allotment with his next door neighbour although he says his best crop is the thistle.
