Since the last edition of Column One we have continued to work closely with Derbyshire Fire & Rescue service on a number of projects.

The picture below shows Ilkeston Fire Station (£2.6m) which is now complete and fully operational and we have recently also completed the design of a new £4.5m state of the art Fire Station at Chesterfield. This station will be one of the largest in Derbyshire and will become a regional headquarters for the Service.
 

Our appointment was made via our existing term contract with Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service won 18 months ago. Under this contract, we are presently working on a new £1m accommodation block at Kingsway in Derby, a £4.5m new station in Buxton and a further new £3.5m station at Ascot Drive in Derby.
