We have recently worked on a project to erect a 37m high wind turbine.

We were engaged by a North Notts landowner to provide advice on the foundations for the turbine. We worked closely with the German manufacturers of the turbine and geotechnical contractors who carried out a detailed site investigation.

As you can see from the photos, the foundations needed to be substantial to withstand the dynamic loadings generated by the turbine. Once the foundations were complete the turbine was hoisted into place and it is now fully operational exporting up to 330kW of electricity to the grid.
