Structural Design

At HWA we pride ourselves on providing integrated structural solutions in partnership with other members of the professional design team. At the onset of a project we will always have an open minded approach to structural form and take time to consider the many factors which influence the final solution.

By becoming involved at the earliest possible stage we are able to provide guidance on the structural options available in parallel with other design and specification decisions. This guidance will be based on a study of all relevant information and data as well as dialogue with the client and other interested parties. 

We are committed to providing structural solutions which consider the environmental impact of a scheme and understand the contribution we can make in terms of our specification. The use of re-cycled material within foundations and the specification of major building elements all contribute towards achieving the very highest green standards.

We frequently work directly with contractors on Design & Build projects adopting a similar pro-active approach. We are able to refine and enhance early stage designs and have a track record of delivering clear and significant cost savings at tender stage.
